The Right to Bare Arms: 7 Work-Approved Tank Tops

Political views aside, for those who choose to bare arms as the weather warms up, finding the perfect-for-work tank styles can be harder than a day in the weight room. Billowy handkerchief blouses are better for a night out and see-through tops are an obvious no-no unless you’re an American Apparel alum or are pulling a Hannah Horvath and want to get canned. So, to keep you employed and looking the part, we’ve targeted 7 tanks, mixed in hot-for-the-season peplums and colors and are serving up looks equal parts chic and cool for the office.

Just Shoe It

The last few pairs of shoes that I've purchased have been from one of my favorite places, J. Crew.

Run by one of the best dressed ladies around, Jenna Lyons (see below), this brand hits the mark by filling a niche in the footwear category which up until now (in my opinion) has been too high-low...with either shoes I have to have but shouldn't necessarily buy, (hello budget!) or shoes that are meant to be cool (see Missoni for Target) but are not actually comfortable/wearable.

Enter these beauties. They're a reasonable $298 and I get more far compliments on this pair than even my most prized YSL Muse shoes.

This one time, I met Jenna Lyons. Best day ever. And she liked my hair.

Shoe rang...

It's been a while since I last posted. Exciting news and one of the reasons I have to get back into it is I now have a beautiful blog header by the one and only Susie Cates (see above).

Other exciting news...

I just returned from London and Amsterdam...pictures to follow.

And, as promised, pictures from Fashion Cares. As it happens, they appeared in Jezebel Magazine

I. Die.

A new season of The Rachel Zoe Project started last night. Of course, I watched. Of course, I died.

This season she's preggo and looking better than ever. In celebration, let us reflect on my past with the one, the only RZ.

RZ tweeted me. Best day of my life?

My interpretation of her flyness.
